TABLE TENNIS PLAYER SUCCESS
Several regular participants in the Glendale Sports Center table tennis meetup group experienced success in recent table tennis tournaments. At the Sky High tournament in Aurora in October, Tony Brangoccio and Igor Tsalyuk won their divisions. At the US Nationals in July, Yoko Wilcox became the US champion for women over age 70 singles and also won a medal in a doubles event. John Liu won medals in the men’s age 55-59 at the Rocky Mountain Senior games in August. All these tournaments are USA table tennis sanctioned events which means players receive national ratings based on their performance. Click here to view our Table Tennis Meetup times.
12 DAYS OF FITNESS CHALLENGE
During the holidays, it can be difficult to get to the gym. That’s why we’re here to encourage you to take the 12 Days of Fitness Challenge! Download the GSC Mobile App and join the challenge. During the month of December record 12 workouts completed at the Glendale Sports Center in the mobile app. Those that complete 12 workouts in the app will be entered into a drawing for a fitness prize package. Download the GSC mobile app on Google Play or the App Store.
