NEW HEALTH AND WELLNESS DIRECTOR
My name is Alison Chism and I am from Greenville, South Carolina. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Health Promotion and am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Health and Wellness Management. My certifications include ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, TRX Suspension Training Certified, ACSM Exercise is Medicine and ACE Health Coach. Prior to coming to Denver, I worked for the Greenville Health System as a Fitness Coordinator and the YMCA of Greater Charlotte as a Healthy Living Director. Fun fact: I’m a Certified Water Ski Instructor who taught during the summers in Maine.
MEMORIAL DAY HOURS

ADULT SPORTS LEAGUES

TENNIS LESSONS
The Glendale Sports Center offers private and group tennis lessons May-October. The tennis courts are located on the corner of Kentucky Ave. and Birch St. and lesson times are flexible. Please contact Lani Pruett at apruett@denverymca.org for more information on our tennis lesson options.
DANCE LESSONS

LIVESTRONG
LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a free 12-week, evidence based, physical activity and well-being program designed to help adult cancer survivors achieve their holistic health goals. The small group, research-based program offers cancer survivors a safe, supportive environment to participate in physical and social activities. By focusing on the whole person and not the disease, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA helps people rebuild spirit, mind and body. BASKETBALL & TENNIS COURT CLOSURES
To accommodate teams for the collegiate 7’s rugby tournament the indoor basketball court will be closed Friday, May 18-Sunday, May 20 and the outdoor tennis & basketball courts will be closed Tuesday, May 15-Monday, May 21. This means all classes and activities held in those spaces will be cancelled during those dates. We apologize for any inconvenience.

PROFESSIONAL MAJOR LEAGUE RUGBY
Come & experience the thrill and fun of the newest professional sport in the US! Major League Rugby makes a return to Infinity Park on May 13th at 6pm as the Glendale Raptors Rugby match up against San Diego Legion at Infinity Park in Glendale.
